Hi, I’m Mujahid Khaleel

I'm a software development professional with over two decades of experience building enterprise-level applications. Currently, I serve as Director of DevOps at CareMetx LLC, where I focus on creating scalable, secure systems that empower teams. I hold a Master's degree in Information Technology from the University of Massachusetts and am passionate about solving complex technical challenges while mentoring teams.
A core part of my role involves building self-service platforms that empower developers. By creating intuitive tools and automation, I enable teams to provision infrastructure and deploy applications independently while maintaining security and governance. This approach dramatically reduces operational bottlenecks and accelerates delivery.
I've led multiple teams through transformative journeys from manual operations to modern DevOps practices. Using infrastructure as code, automation, and AI-powered solutions, I help teams eliminate repetitive tasks and create scalable, intelligent processes. My technical stack includes AWS (EC2, IAM, Lambda, CloudFront), Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins/CircleCI, Terraform, and various programming languages.
I work closely with our CISO to embed security into every stage of development—from vulnerability management to HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance. I believe security should be foundational, not an afterthought, which is why I champion DevSecOps practices across all our deployments.
I follow proven principles—DRY, SOLID, TDD, and Agile methodologies—to deliver robust, high-quality software. Whether implementing CI/CD pipelines, migrating applications to the cloud, or optimizing database management, my goal is to make complex systems simple and enable teams to do their best work.
